COLLUSION X POI + KEELY: KEELY MAJEWSKI TALKS COLLAB, ARTISTRY AND MORE

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, jelly and ice cream, Shrek and Donkey – all iconic duos, and now we're adding COLLUSION x Poi + Keely to the roster. That's right, this exclusive collaboration is now on-site, featuring two graphic tees perfect for spring styling. Quick intro: Poi + Keely, AKA Keely Majewski, is a self-taught 3D artist and illustrator known for her signature doll-like digital characters. She's amassed a cult following on Instagram (@poiandkeely) and has worked with the likes of Ice Spice and Rosalía. Of course, we had to chat to Keely about all things fashion, the COLLUSION partnership and her upcoming book. Scroll for the scoop.

Hey Keely! What inspired your collaboration with COLLUSION, and how does it reflect your personal style?
The biggest inspiration was honestly my love of COLLUSION and how the brand has evolved over the years. The push for inclusivity has always been a huge draw for me and I’m so honoured to have been able to work on this collab! I also wanted to incorporate a gritty and grungy vibe that served to highlight the pieces in the collection, while also balancing that with soft textures.

We love that. What's your favourite 3D COLLUSION character and why?
That’s such a difficult choice! I love all of them, I can just picture them all hanging out, listening to music together and vibing. But if I HAD to choose, I think I'd pick the cat-eared girl [see below] because I absolutely need that outfit in my life.

Your art is so unique. How did you develop your signature style?
My style has really evolved, but when you look back at the work I made years ago, some of the signature features of my characters show up even back then. It feels like it’s been a natural progression to get to my current style. A long journey of practising what works for me and my personal expression, as cliche as it sounds, it's true.

How did you discover and develop your talent?
I’ve been drawing people since I was a child, it’s always been a love of mine and that transformed into where I am now with my love of character design. Not everything was pretty along the way, but my love of creating characters at such a young age in my childhood sketchbooks gave me a solid foundation that I still rely on to this day when I sit down to create.

Fascinating. Walk us through your creative process.
I love a ritual – having my workspace, putting on music, low lights, drinking tea, and setting the vibe so I can just focus on creating. That's a huge first step, and from there I have to plan it all out. Sketching, making mood boards, and writing lists upon lists, especially when it comes to client work. I’m in love with the process, probably even more than finishing the piece. It's my space to decompress and put my emotions into what I’m creating.

What would be your dream collaboration project?
I’d love to continue working with fashion-oriented brands in 2025/2026; Gentle Monster, Jaded London, Free People and Nike to name a few.

We would love to see that. What's next for Poi + Keely? Any exciting projects on the horizon?

I’m currently working on creating a book to hopefully release at the end of this year. It'll be a behind-the-scenes look at my life, my process, and a large collection of sketches! I’ve been wanting to release something like this for such a long time, so I’m very excited to show that side of my work.
