Hey Liz! What's the biggest moment SANYA has had so far?
The creation of the Pony Pink Clogs – this was the first official SANYA product, and I created a custom pair for myself in my room. It went viral on TikTok with millions of views.

 

How do you stay true to yourself in the fashion industry?
Everyone’s going to have an opinion, it’s just about whose voice you turn up the volume to. What I love about having a brand is that your community chooses you. Everyone isn't in your community, and that's okay.

What's a piece of advice that you'd give to other young Black creatives?
It’s hardly about what I say and 100% about what I do. You’ll notice once a world record is broken, it doesn't take long to break it again. People just need to know it’s even possible to begin with.
