Wide-leg jeans are a key silhouette this season and they come in multiple options. ‘Whether you want a high rise with a super soft feel or a more authentic baggy boyfriend that puddles to the floor, we've got them,' says Julie. We suggest balancing the voluminous leg with a fitted top or body for a ‘heels on’ night out, or going super louche with an oversized bomber or faux-leather jacket for a daytime date.

Fashion is in its nostalgia era right now with Y2K throwbacks and 90s mania in full force – and this hasn’t stopped at denim. Proof? The mom jean. Big in the 70s and 80s and then even bigger in the 2010s under Topshop's reign, the tapered style is back again. ‘Mom jeans are more important than ever this season. Onto a newer shape for AW24: the barrel. Inspired by vintage Japanese workwear, with a distinctive curved leg shape, this masc-meets-femme cut has a mid-rise that rests just below the waist. According to Julie, ‘this style is a hit with our stylists. It’s like a baggy fit mixed with a mom jean, but even cooler’! They're a hit with the Hadid sisters, too. We recommend wearing them à la the Alaïa runway with a jean shirt for a double-denim flex.

Prefer your denim super relaxed? Enter: the baggy fit. Another fresh silhouette for the season, this style is your answer for off-duty ‘fits. Described by Julie as ‘sitting at your waist and pooling at your shoes’, this fit is the perfect everyday go-to. And if you’re wondering how to style them, sneakers are always a great option, but mesh flats and your favourite autumn boots will work just as well.
