HERE'S EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO DIY YOUR OWN BAG CHARMS

Whether your go-to bag needs a refresh or you'd rather make a trending style your own, it's time to get acquainted with *bag charms*. Think key rings, think jewellery, think bows, think bears. Basically, if you can attach it to your bag, it's in! We can't get enough of the combos we're seeing on TikTok, so here are our favourite pieces to get you started on your own custom creations.

1. CHAINS
Those necklaces and bracelets you aren't wearing? Scoop them off your night stand and give them a new job: the building blocks for your bag-charm vision. Simple chains make the perfect low-key base for outsized charms (looking at you, bears) or opt for something blingy all on its own. Who needs add-ons when your necklace has drop pearls?
2. BOWS
Talking of pearls, a full string tied into a bow is maybe the perfect 'take summer with you' charm. And of course the possibilities are endless with ribbons and hair accessories. Those fun pieces you got for festivals? Your bag's new besties.
3. BEADS
As Taylor famously sings, 'so make the friendship bracelets, take the handbag and place it'. In other words, any excuse for a beading moment is a good idea. We're moving our phone charms to our bag buckles, bunnies included.
4. EARRINGS
If you're not ready to jump in the bag-charm deep end, adding some hoop earrings to your bag's eyelets or fastenings is a great way to add a touch of something special without going all out. Bonus points if your hoops are hearts or stars.
