If you haven't heard of LuxeGen, let us introduce you. It's the Gen-Z-centric sister site to SheerLuxe – posting content on fashion, beauty, culture and everything in between. But the ladies behind it have become iconic in their own right, adding vlogging, podcasting and influencing to their roster of many talents – not to mention great style. Speaking of, we've teamed up with LuxeGen's Sapna, Daisy, Saroop and Steph to create personalised occasionwear edits for you to shop on ASOS! We toasted the collab with a launch party and chatted with them on everything from styling tips to their (very) bright futures. Tap into the it-girl goss below!

Hey Sapna, we love your edit! How do these clothes reflect your personal style?
I’m a “work smarter, not harder” type of girl, so I choose pieces that do the hard work for me with minimal effort. Think laidback separates, metallic heels and lots of prints. Everything’s super easy to wear; just layer up on accessories and jewellery to upgrade any look. Style these pieces for a number of occasions – whether it’s date nights, brunch with the girls or a garden party.

What’s your makeup and beauty vibe this summer?
Less is always more – unless it’s blush, then more is more! I love a sunkissed peachy glow, so I go big on orange/pink cream blush. I also love a subtle bronzer on the lids, a glossy brown lip and a warm blush for the ultimate sunkissed beat.

Tell us what the future holds for you!
Lots of big collaborations! Evolution is key, particularly in digital media, so I’m always thinking outside the box. I can’t say too much, but 2024 is the year I want to bring the ideas we’ve been vision-boarding to life – both for LuxeGen and for me personally. Watch this space!

Run us through your edit – where to wear it, how to style it, everything!
My style is best described as effortless and cool – my picks include some fun clothes that can be styled up or down (or together for a high-low moment.) There’s a lot of colour in there too, so everything's ideal for summer occasions like prom, graduations, baby showers and more.

What are your top tips on styling?
Step outside your comfort zone, accessorise and wear everything with confidence. No matter what your style is, there's always something you'll love. Finally, a fun pair of heels or some sunnies can make anything ten times cooler.

What’s been your proudest moment so far as a LuxeGen girl?
Transforming an idea into something that we can live, breathe and are totally obsessed with and getting to share the journey with my besties. It’s a testament to the power of collaboration and following your passions.

Hi Saroop! Give us the 411 on your edit.
I either opt for bold looks or go more traditional, there’s no in-between. The embellished pearl chain dress is probably my favourite piece because of its elegance, but I also love the simplicity of the satin midi. My edit has plenty of timeless pieces – wear to wedding receptions, graduations or anything with a formal dress code.

What trends have you been into lately?
Co-ords and satin, especially for evening events. I like to finish off out-out looks with slingback kitten heels and chunky gold jewellery. My motto: go colourful. Even a touch of colour will make an outfit pop!

How did you become a LuxeGen girl, and what lessons have you learned?
This collab is a full-circle moment for me – I moved to London and started my fashion career by working in merchandising at ASOS! Life has taught me to live in the present, so I’m just enjoying where I’m at right now and appreciating the people around me. Alongside exploring more styling opportunities, I’m excited to delve further into broadcasting and presenting.

Describe your edit to us – how do your picks reflect you?
Typically my style leans towards casual comfort, but when it's time to dress up, I like to have fun with bolder pieces. There's something about colour that instantly puts me in the party mood. And yes, I'll admit, I'm a bit of a magpie – so I’m drawn to anything that sparkles!  

Any beauty trends you’re big on this summer?
I love a beachy look, so I mix my Tan-Luxe Super Gloss drops with moisturiser for a radiant finish, and top off with my freckle pen. You just can’t go wrong with beachy waves – instant mermaid vibes!

What does the future hold for you?
I’m looking forward to it! I’m passionate about both broadcasting and BTS work; collaborating with creative art directors and videographers on set is inspiring, so much so that I even discovered my own hidden love for directing. Life is so unpredictable, and that’s the beauty of it.
