5 WAYS TO MAKE YOUR WARDROBE SPRING-READY
By Ayis Stephen-Diver, 14 March 2024
We're getting ready to pack away our winter wardrobe, cause spring’s about to be IN. The season of flowers and sunshine calls for similarly bright and breezy looks, so our Fashion Team have come up with 5 tips for transitioning your wardrobe into SS24. From choosing lightweight fabrics to mastering the art of colour, scroll for the ultimate guide 🌸
2. DENIM SKIRTS + BALLET FLATS
Dirty-wash baggy jeans paired with heavy-duty boots were the talk of the town in AW23, but for spring we’re toning it down a notch by combining denim skirts with ballet flats. Any skirt length goes (depending on the weather), and play around with your choice of flats – from classic satins to a pair with grungy metal detailing.
3. SHIRTS AS LAYERS
This spring, it’s all about wearing oversized linen shirts, with pinstripes and fresh blue and white palettes being an easy entrée into the nautical trend that’s making waves right now. You could probably just use your dad’s old work shirt – throw over a basic cami and denim for a look doused in nostalgia 💾
4. COLOURFUL ACCESSORIES
Tap into classic spring visuals by adding a vibrant colour through a statement accessory 🎨 Bags are the easiest to do this with – think a bright green or red shoulder bag standing out in an all-black outfit, or a purple tote styled with light-wash denim and neutral tones. Chef's kiss.

5. TRENCH COATS
Keep up with the 90s minimalism trend with a lightweight trench coat in neutral shades like beige, khaki and cream. If you’re *really* advanced in the layering game, style it over the pinstripe shirts from tip 3 to give some hardcore ICON energy.
