Also, have you noticed the main event runs throughout out-out season this year? That’s why we’ve styled up these sweet shirts in a ‘straight from the game to the bar’ kinda way. ENGLAND
You see those ombré sleeves? That’s your ticket to colour-matching perfection. Whether it’s with a statement out-out skirt or just your fave jeans, England’s new home shirt is giving us OPTIONS (much like our team this year… thankfully 🙌) If party szn is the time for matching your eyeshadow to your 'fit, then a tournament-filled motive is *THE* time to go loud with the hair/accessories/sequins too!
BRAZIL
Contender for the shirt of the competition right here 🥇 What other team would have the flair to combine two seemingly non-compatible trends? Brazil, ofc. Utilising neon AND leopard print is some serious carnival-level clout and, honestly, it’s hard not to feel the pull of a full day-glo outfit to accompany this beaut. It’s certainly one way to brighten up that early December pub trip.

Cést Magnifique! 👩🍳 💋 That’s what we’re saying about France’s new home shirt. The epitome of 'tres chic', this stripped-back offering makes use of subtle gold details and we love that retro button-up collar. Plus, peep the minimalist flag branding on the sleeve that streetwear fans (us included) go wild for. This one's crying out for some gold sequins, and remember – don’t substitute the gold jewellery either ⚜️

Talking of cool gold branding, we’re sensing a theme this year with Germany opting for the same kind of high-end elegance. Also, November and December are chilly, right? So, it’s just as well that a roll-neck jumper pairs so well underneath this baby. Say 👋 to your monochromatic match-day moment 😍

Nigeria’s home shirt is SO GOOD, the country doesn’t even have to be in the competition for us to write about it. Remember the frenzy around the 2018 kit, the one with the zig-zags? We’re predicting the same for this beaut. We actually spoke to the buying team about this one, and they reckon it’s gonna sell out in, like, five minutes – seriously! Doesn’t even matter what you wear with this one, stop reading and go and get it… QUICK! 🏃♀️💨

We’re not done with the abstract designs just yet friends. This wild-card entry has got footie fans at ASOS HQ secretly hoping they pick Japan in the sweepstake, just so they can bag this number. Also, look closer, that’s not just a random assortment of shapes, those lines are a flock of origami cranes 💙 Looks like everyone will be ‘flocking’ to add this one to bag. OK, that was bad... we'll see ourselves out.
