After what seems like forever, our fave show Euphoria is back! 🎉 And while the first episode's looks, vibe and drama were all we could have hoped for, we're here to talk about one thing: the makeup. In S1, everyone was obsessed with Head MUA Donni Davy's use of colour, rhinestones, graphic liners and the 90s-grunge-made-maximalist aesthetic. But this season, she's revealed the looks'll be more low key (but they'll still bring the Euphoria-edge, obvs), which makes them even easier to try at home! Jules's makeup has been all about artsy shapes and unconventional colours, and ep 1 saw her wearing a heavy eyeliner in an abstract shape with the focus on the inner edge of the eyes. The lesson? Maddy's liner in the first episode was a more traditional cat eye, with the lines as clear-cut as humanly possible – just like the look above. Donni Davy even described it as being 'sharp like a knife, to cut through whatever stands in her way: ex-boyfriends, bathroom doors, etc'. (We’d throw disloyal BFFs in there too, tbh.) 💔 To recreate this one, you'll need a teeny tiny brush so you can be super precise – try the NYX one below – or you could tap into that surgical-tape hack that was all over TikTok last year. Plus, DON’T forget gloss to make your Maddy vibe complete.

We had plenty of close-ups of Cassie’s terrified (and bejewelled) eyes in the first ep. Her skin was flushed and dewy and her lips were pink with smudged outlines, but it was her eyes that stood out 👀 Even after hiding in a bath for ages, the subtly winged shadow and not-so-subtle embellishments made her eyes POP. Pro tip: you'll need some good lash glue to achieve a look like this, so we’ve linked some below.

Our grunge queen Kat loves heavy eyes and lips, and for ep 1 she combined them both. Emerald was the perf colour for her shadow while her cute relationship with Ethan was making ppl green with envy.
