While animal prints always have (and always will) tickle us no end, there’s a new skin on the block. Sure, snakes by and large are pretty frightening, but actually, faux snake print is anything but. The scaly covering has long been adorning bags and shoes, but for the new season, it’s time for trews to get in on the action. The Isabel Marant show will always guarantee certain things: laid-back Frenchness, great knitwear and some sort of leather or animal-print trouser, which soon becomes cult. Case in point, these slim, snakey strides which look pretty chill with a statement sweater (yes, we know there's a heatwave right now, but it's always good to plan ahead, right?) and tassel Western boots.
