ALL THE BEST TRENDS FROM COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK
By Emma Strawbridge, August 13, 2024

Copenhagen may not be the biggest of the fashion weeks, but it’s the one we look forward to the most. Why? Because the street style always goes *off*, and the SS25-show attendees did not disappoint with the looks. It may still be summer but we're here for trends you can wear all year long, so we've rounded up the best trends for transitioning into fall and beyond. Sound good? Get scrolling.
OUR TOP 5 TRANSITIONAL TRENDS:

#1: CAPRI PANTS
Yes, we tried to hate them – but you can see for yourself how good they look. Whether you opt for minimalist 90s vibes or play with proportions and texture by adding a leather jacket, capri pants always give effortless style. And if you don’t want to wear them with heels, go for a low-profile sneaker or ballet flats.

#2: DENIM JACKETS
The CFW crowd are bringing back the denim jacket, and we think they’ll be great layered with knitwear into September. Go for prints and pops of color to accent the indigo hues, or keep it coordinated with matching jeans.

#3: COLOR DRENCH
Whatever you do this fall, keep it colorful. And we’re talking full-throttle, head-to-toe dopamine-filled looks. Tonal ‘fits were all over the streets, and what better way to bring some color to the no-doubt cloudy skies as we head out of summer and into darker nights.

#4: BUBBLE HEMS
Bubble-hem skirts have been one of our favorite SS24 trends, and the best part? You don’t need to pack them away when you do your seasonal wardrobe swap. Just pair them with your best knitwear into transitional season – whether that’s a cropped cardie, oversized sweater or a shirt and a sweater vest. For the feet, keep things hyper-femme by teaming them with pumps or go heavy-duty with moto boots.

#5: ACCESSORIZE TO THE MAX
'More is more' is the mantra this F/W, and the accessories at Copenhagen Fashion Week were giving. Bag charms are already all over our FYPs, and you don’t even need to invest in new pieces – just DIY it with necklaces and chains. And if you’re feeling a little retro, headscarves offer a chic way to elevate a look (extra points for keeping it tonal).
