NIKE MOVE TO ZERO SNEAKERS

Respect to Nike for working to level up its responsible creds. Through Move To Zero, it’s been taking strides to source, process and manufacture materials more responsibly. The result? Classic styles and some box-fresh silhouettes, all made from at least 25% recycled content by weight. We love to see it. Scroll to zero-in (sorry!) on two of our absolute faves: the Crater Impact and Space Hippie 01.
Nike Crater Impact
Impact by name, impact by nature. Nike’s latest Crater style just landed with a bang! Part of our responsible edit, it’s 25% recycled and 100% snatched, featuring the signature Grind sole, innovative design details and that lightweight Sail-mesh upper which brings a seriously slick finish.
Part of Nike’s responsible journey to transform trash into shoes that tread a little lighter, the Crater Impact is designed with waste reduction in mind. Chunky Crater foam midsole made from 10% recycled content? An embroidered swoosh and fabric overlays, specially designed to minimise scrap? Laces made from 100% recycled polyester? Check, check and check!
Comfort and performance come as standard, obvs. With all those head-turning looks working those responsible angles, the Crater Impact hits different.

Space Hippie 01
Inspired by the idea of life on Mars, Space Hippie is Nike’s lowest-carbon-footprint shoe EVER. Props to that! Winning points for style and effort, this futuristic runner has a lightweight Crater sole and uses about 12% Nike Grind rubber combined with foam materials to give a super-flexible and responsive feel.
The ‘Space Waste’ Flyknit Yarn upper is made from 85-90% recycled content, such as used plastic bottles and scraps from the factory floor (rags to riches – smart!). These recycled materials create slight colour and texture variations, making every pair one-of-a-kind (as if you needed another reason to love these). Nice work!
