Hot take: the first Monday in Nov is giving the first Monday in May a run for its 💰The Met Gala may be *the* most elite red carpet, but tonight’s CFDA Fashion Awards brought the heat to the NYC streets 🗽 Every year, the Council of Fashion Designers of America honors the best & brightest in the style space, and this time around was nothing short of iconic. CHASE STOKES

No one likes to play favorites, but Chase Stokes' Monday best had levels 🪜 First, the Outer Banks star went for a suit in a steel blue hue. Ditching a top beneath the double-breasted blazer was a power move, but accessories scored him the 👑 When you think it can't get better than his ring stack and subtle chain game, you notice the adidas Originals. Kicks that kick things up a notch? We have to stan.

We're talking texture on texture, and Atlanta actor LaKeith Stanfield has entered the chat 🤝 The cream set by Amiri was a mish-mash of textile triumph, with tweed, mesh and plenty of fresh fabrics linking up to create a 2023 take on 70s grandadcore with a dash of disco. Oh, and don't forget the matching cap for good measure ✔️

It's safe to say Charles Melton has earned heartthrob status thanks to his run on Riverdale, and he's quickly racking up fashun cred offscreen. TBH, he's not reinventing the 🛞 here... but he is proving that classic is key to holiday party success 🎉 Just team black slacks with a velvet blazer and sleek boots, and you're pretty much g2g for any formal RSVP.

And now, for something completely different 🌹The King of Modern Reggaeton lived up to his royal title, rocking a red and black lewk by American Menswear Designer of the Year winner Willy Chavarria (casual, right?). This wasn't any suit, natch. The flowing 'fit showcased wide-leg pants, shoulder pads and an XXL flower detail. Subtle? Nah, but extra is always a good idea... esp when December rolls around 🏆
