Considering its rarity, we’re firm believers that sunny weather should be soaked up in style. That means linen shirts with seasonal graphics, nautical prints and sandy desert tones – and we've got them in spades. Give your wardrobe a sunny switch-up with these styles and add them to your packing list.

Layering isn’t exclusive to the colder months – this season the goal isn’t warmth, it’s dimension. A short-sleeve shirt – graphic, textured or even sheer thrown over a waffle vest is the perfect way to play with silhouettes. This core can be worn with just about anything, from jeans to jorts, and easily transitioned from day to night.

Stripes are always around, but this season they're going to be a go-to in your wardrobe. We’re taking an understated approach to the look with Breton stripes, pinstripes and even woven fabrics that your eyes will just about recognise as stripey. Matching your trousers, bag or sandals to one of the colours is how we’re taking advantage of this timeless pattern and making the look feel effortless.

Co-ords are forever the resort-ready uniform, but *really* mastering that effortless look requires colour drenching. For the unacquainted, colour drenching is wearing several shades of the same hue – in our Summer Styling edit that means browns, beige and lots of cream. Breaking colours up with white or grey results in a polished but dimensional look.
