EVERYTHING ON OUR RADAR THIS MONTH
By Ayis Stephen-Diver, 1 April 2025
April is known for Easter celebrations, April fools and the start of your SS25 wardrobe, but it’s less regarded for its annual abundance of music, TV and events a little closer to home. Have a scroll to see what we’re looking forward to the most, whip out your calendar, and set some reminders because you won’t want to miss these.

YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBOURS: 11 APRIL
If Breaking Bad, Succession or Mad Men are on your list of the greatest shows ever made, allow us to introduce you to Apple TV’s new dramedy, Your Friends and Neighbours. The show follows Andrew Cooper – played by Jon Hamm – whose recent divorce, firing and subsequent desperation drive him to steal from his wealthy neighbours. It's already been renewed for a second season, so you know it's good.
THE LAST OF US SEASON 3: 13 APRIL
Two years after the Emmy award-winning show’s debut, we’re finally picking up where Joel and Ellie left off. The second season’s seven episodes are set to be just as dark and existential-crisis-inducing as before. Players of the 2020 video game The Last Of Us II can expect some of the most intense and iconic scenes brought onto our screens, but thankfully, giant fungus won't be wiping out the real world any time soon.
YOU SEASON 5: 24 APRIL
Knowing that Penn Badgley’s iconic performance as Joe Goldberg is coming to an end is both upsetting and relieving. Joe’s bloody story has crossed borders, with season 4 being set in London, but in this final chapter, he returns to the city where it all started – NYC. He’s now the husband of a wealthy CEO, and thanks to his newfound social media clout, all eyes are on him. *Raises drink* Here’s to hoping he finally faces some consequences!

When Usher wears a fur coat, you know he means business.
BON IVER, SABLE, fABLE: 11 APRIL
Last year we got the SABLE EP, and this year we’re being treated to the first full-length Bon Iver album since 2019: SABLE, fABLE. The album opens with the four tracks of the EP, and then transitions into nine new songs with features from Dijon, Flock of Dimes and Danielle Haim. We sense this is going to be your spring 2025 soundtrack.
USHER TOUR: 1 APRIL - 7 MAY
The 11-show London leg of the Past, Present, Future tour ends 7 May – that’s 11 opportunities to watch Usher in peak form. Previous concerts saw him performing absolute bangers, including U Don’t Have To Call, Confessions Part II, U Remind Me and Good Kisser – so you can expect to have the time of your life. Tickets are almost sold out, so hurry!

THE U.S. MASTERS: 10 - 13 APRIL
For those who aren’t acquainted with the world of championship golf, the Masters is one the first major tournaments of the year, and the magic only ever happens in one place: the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia. The world’s top golfers compete for the historic green jacket, which is currently owned by American Scottie Scheffler. We’ll be watching both the sport *and* the ‘fits – chinos, polos and knits are so in.
BRICK LANE JAZZ FESTIVAL: 25 - 27 APRIL
Despite its name, the Brick Lane Jazz Festival includes genres spanning neo-soul, hip-hop, electronic, jazz and more, all at London's Truman Brewery. Not only can you envelop yourself in the sounds of the city, but you can take in the culture and legacy of one of London’s most exciting areas.
LONDON MARATHON: 27 APRIL
The 45th annual London Marathon is looming, and whether you’re running or not, securing a pair of running shoes and some gear is the perfect way to celebrate the occasion. Keep your eyes peeled for current Olympic and Paralympic champions Sifan Hassan, Tamirat Tola, and Catherine Debrunner if you’re planning on watching live from the streets.
