UPGRADE YOUR NEW-SEASON ROTATION WITH THE UTILITY EDIT
By Lizzie Griffin, 10 March 2025
Utility style is always firmly on our agenda. But for spring/summer 2025 we’re updating it with the Utility Edit – a brand-new drop of classic workwear pieces, sportswear details and boxy cuts that'll bring a fresh perspective to your daily rotation. Reset your style game with brands like Carhartt WIP, Levi’s and ASOS DESIGN and find out how to wear these pieces from one season to the next.
UTILITY DETAILS
Thanks to classic silhouettes and durable construction, workwear has stood the test of time and naturally blends into every trend cycle without a hitch. This season we're focusing on denim jackets – they're the perfect spring layer and so easy to style. Our suggestion? Double down on the denim with a Canadian tux to look instantly put-together or team with hardwearing twill trousers for true workwear moment.
LIGHTER LAYERS
Speaking of jackets, an alternative to the humble denim jacket would have to be the trucker. As the days start to warm up, opt for something like this Levi’s piece, which has a relaxed fit that will move into your everyday rotation with ease. Layer over anything: a shirt-and-jorts combo, a knit-and-trouser pairing, you name it.
BOXY SHIRTS
Boxy shirts fit into this aesthetic perfectly – choose yours in a mini check and style it with a white tee peeping through underneath. Make it office-appropriate with relaxed tailored trousers, loafers and a retro-inspired cap, or do up a few buttons and team with cargo shorts, boat shoes and tinted sunnies for weekend plans.
SPORTY GRAPHICS
Sportswear is always in, but thanks to the ever-growing popularity of F1 and paddock looks, we’ve seen racing-style details and big logos in everyone's 'fit checks recently. This is your sign to get involved. Choose vintage-style prints splashed across colourful tees to hit pole position.
