FOUND: EUROS 2024 JERSEYS MADE FOR MATCH DAY
By Lizzie Griffin, 3 June 2024
The domestic football season may be over *sob* but we've still got the biggest tournament in European football to look forward to this summer. Before things kick off on 14 June 2024, let's talk looks. The official home and away jerseys have just landed, so all that's left for you to do is find your team and put your best match-day look together. Not into the game? Terrace fashion is trending, so working a football jersey into your wardrobe has never been cooler (P.S. we've made it super easy for you and popped all the home jerseys on the left and away on the right <3).
ENGLAND
We predict this one selling out (and fast). Oh, and did you know that the stripes on the cuff and the taping on the neck is Nike's way of paying tribute to Bobby Moore, the man who led the England side to victory in 1966. England's away kit this year is purple – a combination of the red and blue accents from the home shirt.
GERMANY
Germany are the hosts of this year's tournament, so obviously, they want to look their best. The nation's traditional colours of red, yellow and black have been incorporated into the sleeve design complete with abstract tonal patterning in the body – super slick.
SPAIN
Spain's home shirt is inspired by the country's national flower – the carnation – and 'the rhythmic flow of ocean waves'. The inspiration from the nation doesn't stop there though, the away kit's colourway is also inspired by the hues of the Spanish summer.
FRANCE
Trust France to add some vintage flair to their home shirt. The oversized cockerel on the chest is meant as a nod of respect to the multi-cultural teams of the 1980s. We're very into the taping around the neck in the style of the nation's flag too.
NETHERLANDS
Orange is the symbol of the royal family in the Netherlands, so really there's only one choice for the team's home-shirt colour. The Netherlands' away shirt, however, is inspired by De Stijl, a Dutch art movement from 1917 that focussed on abstract shapes and patterns. Fancy.

PORTUGAL
Portugal like to keep things simple for its home shirt – mimicking the iconic colours for an instantly recognisable vibe. Portugal have saved the most creative design elements for the away shirt. It features an azulejo-tile pattern – a well-loved national design found all over the country. Germany are the hosts of this year's tournament, so obviously, they want to look their best. The nation's traditional colours of red, yellow and black have been incorporated into the sleeve design complete with abstract tonal patterning in the body – super slick.
ITALY
Our favourite feature from Italy's home shirt has to be the 3-stripe sleeve detail in the same colours as the national flag. The away shirt follows suit, but separates the colours into sections – both sleeves and the collar. With this starting line-up ready to go right now, the hardest part of this is choosing a favourite.
