BOAT SHOES ARE BACK: HERE'S HOW TO STYLE THEM FOR SPRING

We've had rugby shirts, pristine penny loafers and even clogs, but now it's time for the revival of another classic: the boat shoe. Yes, that's right, it's back – and it's becoming the new It shoe for spring. First designed by Paul Sperry in the early 1930s, boat shoes have become synonymous with preppy style. Here's how you can get on board with them for SS24.

Although brands like Timberland and Tommy Hilfiger have always backed the boat shoe, Miu Miu steered the ship towards It-shoe status when it showcased them on its spring/summer 2024 runway. And just in case you needed any more proof of its popularity, we've seen plenty of fashion favourites and celebs styling them, including Dylan Sprouse.
