FLAT LAY
YOUR MID-90S OUTFIT
By Steven Potter, 9 April 2019
With 90s influences dominating another season, the looks coming out of Jonah Hill’s directorial debut and cult-hit-in-the-making skate flick Mid90s are an absolute goldmine of laid-back, curb-surfing gear that would work equally well in the late-10s. It’s all baggy logo tees, slouchy denim and grungy hairstyles, and it's inspired the look below – one that'll have you dusting off your board and pulling nosegrinds and lipslides all summer long. Or, you know, just channelling big 90s vibes. Your choice.

A short-sleeved shirt over a long-sleeved tee? If 90s skateboarding culture had a uniform – this might be it. On top, opt for a wavey, vintage-style print for maximum 90s realness and rock a white top underneath to really make it pop. As for your denim, make sure it’s washed-out and baggy enough for you to ollie with ease, and team with some Converse from the Golf Le Fleur collection for added skate-inspired bonus points. After all, the collaboration came from Odd Future’s Tyler, The Creator, a constant source of skate-inspired steez and a boarder himself.
