Noel Gallagher has always been a man of restraint. Where his sibling would lose his temper and shout rudies at anyone who'd listen, Noel always took a step back, thought long and hard about why he was so cross, and then let rip with an eloquent, if equally blue, rant at his targets.

And you could say the same about other aspects of Noel's life, from his music to his style. Restrained, tasteful and very cool, you won't find Noel noodling away if the song doesn't need a solo and you won't find him wearing anything too extrovert or OTT either.
Here's a prime example: last week he wore a blue bomber jacket, grey jeans and matching smart, grey sneakers to the Real Stars Are Rare menswear collection by Paul Weller at London's Somerset House. What's he wearing underneath? Chances are it's not a Beady Eye T-shirt, but it might well be a plain white crew or a buttoned-up polo shirt. Simple and smart.
