What You Need To Know:

We love running promotions for you guys and we want to be as clear as possible on how you enter and the prize is drawn. Please read the nuts and bolts below and if you’ve still got any questions just contact win@asos.com.

We know that there are ASOS lovers all around the world, but this promotion is only open to residents of the United Kingdom, who are aged 16 or over and studying in a tertiary institution. So that we are completely fair, anyone professionally connected to ASOS is not allowed to enter.
You will need proof of student status (a tertiary institution email address), and access to the internet. Entrants who do not have an active ESTA will need to be able to obtain one at least 72 hours prior to taking the prize.
Promotion Period: You can enter this promotion between 00.01 BST on 13^th May 2019 and 23.59 BST on 26^th May 2019 - so keep your eye on that watch!
To Enter: Entering this promotion is simple:
1. Existing Validated Student accounts: visit https://www.asos.com/discover/xbox-student-competition/enter your full name and the email address you use for your ASOS account and click ‘enter’ to be entered into the draw.
2. Non-validated student accounts:
  1. Visit https://www.asos.com/discover/xbox-student-competition/
  2. and fill in the student validation form (email addresses, first name, last name) during the Promotion Period to validate as an ASOS Student. ASOS Students that complete the validation form will receive an email to their student email address.
  3. Click the the link in the email to complete validation, and be entered into the prize draw.
If you’re a new student sign up, you have validated as an ASOS Student you will receive a 10% discount code to use until you graduate. The discount code can be used on orders up a maximum total spend limit of £500 (or your equivalent local currency) after discount, per calendar month. Only one discount code may be used at a time. The discount code is valid on full priced items only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers. The discount code cannot be used on delivery charges; to purchase ASOS gift vouchers, ASOS Premier subscriptions or on ASOS Marketplace. Some brand exclusions may apply. ASOS reserve the right to terminate the discount code without notice. The value of the student discount may be increased periodically throughout the academic year, so keep an eye out! Your code is unique, so don’t share it.
The Prize: 1 winner will win 1 x trip to the E3 conference in Los Angeles, from 10^th June – 14^th June 2019 for themselves and a friend, including a 5 night stay in Los Angeles,flights, spending money for food/drinks, and a £500 ASOS gift voucher.

7. The Rewards: Every valid entrant will receive 1 x Xbox Game Pass.
Further Prize details:
1. The trip prize includes: 2 x economy return flights from the winner’s nearest international airport (UK);
2. 5 nights accommodation at an LA hotel near the convention centre, on a twin/double room, room only basis. The name and address will be confirmed to the winner during the winner communications;
3. Return transfers from the airport in LA to the hotel;
4. 1 x £500 ASOS gift voucher;
5. 1 x $1,000 spending money, paid by BACS prior to departure.
6. The winner or their guest must be 21 years of age or older at the date of departure in order to check-in to the hotel. If the selected winner is under 18 at time of travel, their guest may need to be their parent or guardian, subject to airline and hotel restrictions;
7. The winner and their guest must travel together in both directions;
8. All elements of the prize package must be taken as part of the same trip;
9. Flights are non-refundable and non-transferable;
10. The winner and their guest must abide by and are subject to the Airline’s published conditions of carriage;
11. Once flight tickets have been issued, they are only valid for flights, dates and times shown. Name changes to the flight seats once confirmed are not permitted;
12. If a flight booking is cancelled by the winner, no alternative tickets will be issued and for the avoidance of doubt, no compensation and/or refund will be provided;
13. Lounge passes and upgrades are not permitted;
14. Frequent flyer points cannot be accrued on the flight tickets. An upgrade cannot be purchased on these tickets with cash or frequent flyer points;
15. Flight extras are not included in the prize (flight extras include, but are not limited to, on-board meals and drinks);
16. The winner and their guest will each require an e-passport with minimum 2 unstamped pages, valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; any necessary visas (e.g., ESTA) or travel insurance are the responsibility of the winner and their guest and ESTAs must be obtained at least 72 hours prior to travel;
17. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include any costs or extras that are not explicitly set out in these terms and conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs; and
18. The winner is responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guest whilst taking the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude the winner and/or guest from participation in any aspect of the Prize if any party fails to comply with the directions of the Promoter or any companies associated with the Prize or the winner and/or guest act in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is, in the opinion of the Promoter, anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others.
19. A valid credit or debit card will be required to check-in to the hotel and will be used to guarantee against incidentals and any room service or charges.
Further Reward Details:
1. Every valid entrant will receive 1 x 30 day Xbox Game Pass;
2. Rewards will be sent to the email address associated with your ASOS account within 7 days of entering the promotion;
3. The pass is valid for 30 days once activated;
4. The pass must be redeemed by 23.59 on 13^th May 2020;
5. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion;
6. After term ends, active membership is required to play games;
7. Game catalog varies over time;
8. DLC sold separately. If a game is removed from Game Pass or your subscription ends, you will need to purchase the game separately to use your DLC;

Further information on using ASOS Gift Vouchers:
1. The gift voucher for the UK winner will be issued in GBP to be used on www.asos.com.
2. The gift voucher must be redeemed when placing an order in GBP.
3. The winner will receive a gift voucher code via email to register it to their ASOS account as credit. An ASOS account will need to be set up to use the gift voucher (if the winner hasn’t done this already).
4. The gift voucher has an expiry of 2 years from date of adding to account.
5. Gift vouchers can be used as part or full payment against eligible items on the ASOS websites (this does not include ASOS Marketplace or the purchase of other ASOS gift vouchers).
6. Unless otherwise required by law, no cash refunds will be given but any balance remaining on the gift voucher is locked to the winner’s account and can be used against future purchases.

Winner Selection: So that you know we’ve selected our winner fairly from all the valid entries we receive, the random draw will be carried out by an independent promotional verification service and will take place within 2 working days of the end of the Promotion Period.
Contacting the winners: If you are our lucky winner, we’ll contact you via the email provided upon entry, immediately following the random draw. You must respond to us by Friday 31^st May 2019 confirming acceptance of your prize, and confirming the name and age of your guest along withconfirmation that you both have or can obtain ESTAs. If you don’t respond within the time given, or cannot obtain the necessary ESTA/visa, or are not approved for an ESTA, we will have to disqualify you and award the prize to a reserve winner. A total of 5 reserves will be contacted. Reserves may have less time to respond due to the nature of the prize. In the event that no winner or reserves respond, wereserve the right not to award the prize.
Prize Acceptance: If you are our lucky winner, we will begin arranging the Prize with you as soon as you accept it.
Sorry, but you can’t transfer a Prize to someone else or exchange it for a cash alternative. Make sure to keep your prize safe and don’t let anyone copy your Gift Voucher codes, or you won’t be able to apply them to your ASOS account!
If, for reasons we can’t control, the prize is no longer available, we’ll offer you an alternative prize which we hope you’ll still love but which will definitely be of equal or greater value.

No one likes the small print, but we need to let you know about some other important stuff too and make you feel comfortable that we run our promotions properly, fairly (and legally!):
Data Privacy:We care a lot about the security of your personal data and it will be held in accordance with our Privacy Policy here: http://www.asos.com/infopages/pgeprivacy.aspx and will only be used for the purposes of this promotion. We will only share your data with our Fulfilment Partners necessary to fulfil this promotion.
We believe in fair play. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups, syndicates or third parties will not be accepted and we will not accept cheating in any form including the use of macros or other automated means of entry, masking your identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than your own and any other behaviour that falls outside the spirit of the promotion. If you’re found to be cheating, you will be excluded.
Unfortunately, if you suffer any loss or damage that arises out of or in connection with the prize draw or prize itself (whether in contract, tort (including (without limitation) negligence), statutory duty or otherwise) ASOS won’t be liable for this.
If this promotion can’t run properly because of fraud, tampering, technical errors or anything else that is beyond our control which affects the running, administration, security or fairness of this promotion, we reserve the right to disqualify any person involved. We will also have the right to cancel, modify or suspend the promotion.
If someone or something tampers with this promotion in some way whether by fraud, technical failures, system errors or other issues, including any such failure which is within the control of ASOS or its agencies, ASOS and its agencies will not be responsible for the Promotion, prize or for the non-inclusion of entries. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.
In the event of any dispute our decision is final.
