What You Need To Know:

We love running promotions for you guys and we want to be as clear as possible on how you enter and the prize is drawn. Please read the nuts and bolts below and if you’ve still got any questions just contact win@asos.com.

We know that there are ASOS lovers all around the world, but this promotion is only open to residents of Australia , who are aged 17 or over and studying in a tertiary institution. So that we are completely fair, anyone professionally connected to ASOS is not allowed to enter.
You will need proof of student status (a tertiary institution email address), and access to the internet.
Promotion Period: You can enter this promotion between 19:00 AEST on 8^th July 2019 and 19:00 AEST on 22^nd July 2019 - so keep your eye on that watch!
To Enter: Entering this promotion is simple:
1. Existing Validated Student accounts: visit https://www.asos.com/discover/xbox-student-competition/enter your full name and the email address you use for your ASOS account and click ‘enter’ to be entered into the draw.
2. Non-validated student accounts:
  1. Visit https://www.asos.com/discover/xbox-student-competition/
  2. and fill in the student validation form (email addresses, first name, last name) during the Promotion Period to validate as an ASOS Student. ASOS Students that complete the validation form will receive an email to their student email address.
  3. Click the the link in the email to complete validation, and be entered into the prize draw.
If you’re a new student sign up, you have validated as an ASOS Student you will receive a 10% discount code to use until you graduate. The discount code can be used on orders up a maximum total spend limit of AUD500 (or your equivalent local currency) after discount, per calendar month. Only one discount code may be used at a time. The discount code is valid on full priced items only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers. The discount code cannot be used on delivery charges; to purchase ASOS gift vouchers, ASOS Premier subscriptions or on ASOS Marketplace. Some brand exclusions may apply. ASOS reserve the right to terminate the discount code without notice. The value of the student discount may be increased periodically throughout the academic year, so keep an eye out! Your code is unique, so don’t share it.
The Prize: 1 winner will win 1 x XBOX One S games console plus XBOX Design Lab voucher, 1 x AUD500 ASOS gift voucher and 1 x 90 day Xbox Game Pass. The total prize value is AUD1,190.
The Rewards: Every valid entrant will receive 1 x 30 day Xbox Game Pass.
Further Xbox Game Pass Details:
1. Passes will be sent to the email address associated with your ASOS account within 7 days of entering the promotion;
2. The 30 day game pass is valid for 30 days once activated, the 90 day game pass is valid for 90 days once activated;
3. All passes must be redeemed by 23.59 on 13^th May 2020;
4. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion;
5. After term ends, active membership is required to play games;
6. Game catalog varies over time;
7. DLC sold separately. If a game is removed from Game Pass or your subscription ends, you will need to purchase the game separately to use your DLC;

Further information on using ASOS Gift Vouchers:
1. The gift voucher for the AU winner will be issued in Australian Dollars to be used on www.asos.com.au.
2. The gift voucher must be redeemed when placing an order in AUD.
3. The winner will receive a gift voucher code via email to register it to their ASOS account as credit. An ASOS account will need to be set up to use the gift voucher (if the winner hasn’t done this already).
4. The gift voucher has an expiry of 10 years from date of adding to account.
5. Gift vouchers can be used as part or full payment against eligible items on the ASOS websites (this does not include ASOS Marketplace or the purchase of other ASOS gift vouchers).
6. Unless otherwise required by law, no cash refunds will be given but any balance remaining on the gift voucher is locked to the winner’s account and can be used against future purchases.

Winner Selection: So that you know we’ve selected our winner fairly from all the valid entries we receive, the random draw will be carried out by an independent promotional verification service and will take place at 2 Dulling Street, Newcastle, New South Wales, 2209, on 5^th August at 17:00 AEST.
Contacting the winner: If you are our lucky winner, we’ll contact you via the email provided upon entry, within 10 working days of the random draw -. You must respond to us within three months confirming acceptance of your prize. If you don’t respond within the time given, we will award the prize to a reserve winner. A total of 3 reserves will be contacted. Reserves may have less time to respond. In the event that no winner or reserves respond, wereserve the right not to award the prize.
Prize Acceptance: If you are our lucky winner, we will send you your Prize as soon as we can – and it will be delivered to you within 28 days of the date you accept the Prize when contacted by ASOS, in accordance with the contact details you have provided to us (Prize Acceptance). In the unlikely event that your Prize doesn’t arrive within 28 days of your Prize Acceptance, you’ll have a further 28 days to inform us by emailing the team at: win@asos.com. If you don’t let us know within this timeframe, we will reserve the right to not reissue the prize or limit its value at our sole discretion.
Sorry, but you can’t transfer a Prize to someone else or exchange it for a cash alternative. Make sure to keep your prize safe and don’t let anyone copy your Gift Voucher codes, or you won’t be able to apply them to your ASOS account!
If, for reasons we can’t control, the prize is no longer available, we’ll offer you an alternative prize which we hope you’ll still love but which will definitely be of equal or greater value.

No one likes the small print, but we need to let you know about some other important stuff too and make you feel comfortable that we run our promotions properly, fairly (and legally!):
Data Privacy:We care a lot about the security of your personal data and it will be held in accordance with our Privacy Policy here: https://www.asos.com/au/privacy-policy/ and will only be used for the purposes of this promotion. We will only share your data with our Fulfilment Partners necessary to fulfil this promotion.
We believe in fair play. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups, syndicates or third parties will not be accepted and we will not accept cheating in any form including the use of macros or other automated means of entry, masking your identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than your own and any other behaviour that falls outside the spirit of the promotion. If you’re found to be cheating, you will be excluded.
Unfortunately, if you suffer any loss or damage that arises out of or in connection with the prize draw or prize itself (whether in contract, tort (including (without limitation) negligence), statutory duty or otherwise) ASOS won’t be liable for this.
If this promotion can’t run properly because of fraud, tampering, technical errors or anything else that is beyond our control which affects the running, administration, security or fairness of this promotion, we reserve the right to disqualify any person involved. We will also have the right to cancel, modify or suspend the promotion.
If someone or something tampers with this promotion in some way whether by fraud, technical failures, system errors or other issues, including any such failure which is within the control of ASOS or its agencies, ASOS and its agencies will not be responsible for the Promotion, prize or for the non-inclusion of entries. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.
In the event of any dispute our decision is final.
